One of my passions is restorative dentistry. Nothing is so rewarding as seeing a patient’s reaction to the transformation that occurs with bonding, crowns, implants, or veneers. If you’re unhappy with the look of your teeth – the color, the shape, imperfections like chips or cracks – I offer a minimally invasive treatment that can give you the smile you’ve always wanted. If you’ve always wanted to change the look of your teeth but are concerned about the involvement of duration of treatment, I have a great solution for you: Veneers.

What Are Veneers?

Veneers are thin shells that fit over the front of your teeth. They are most commonly made of porcelain or composite resin – both of which mimic the appearance of natural teeth – and can be used to correct a number of problems, including:

  • Stained or discolored teeth
  • Misshapen teeth (such as teeth that are rounded or have been worn down by grinding)
  • Misaligned or gapped teeth

Veneers can correct the smile imperfections that have always bothered you – without invasive or lengthy treatments. Best of all, they are cared for in the same way that you would care for your natural teeth.

The Procedure

If you and I determine that veneers are the right treatment option, you can expect the following procedure:

  • To keep you comfortable, you will receive local anesthesia around the areas being treated.
  • I will prepare the surface of your teeth by removing a thin layer of your natural teeth.
  • The veneers will be bonded to your teeth and then light-cured to ensure that the material sets.
  • Finally, I will smooth and shape the veneers to give you a comfortable, beautiful smile that you’ll be eager to share with the world.

Restorative dentistry does not have to involve painful surgery or take months to achieve. Veneers are just one way I can help you have the smile you’ve longed for. To schedule a consultation, contact my office today.
